Required for small friendly Accountancy Practice an experienced accounts assistant.

Knowledge of, but not limited to, bookkeeping, VAT, accruals, prepayments, journals, payroll to include RTI and Auto Enrollment/Pensions etc is required. Also a good working knowledge of Cloud based Software, eg, Quickbooks, Sage and Xero etc is essential. Hands on proven experience is more important than qualifications.

Ideally mature, you must have an aptitude and desire to learn and adapt in a changing industry, an inquisitive mind and be able to handle switching between jobs and Clients and to deal with several jobs at a time. If you have experience in an Accountancy Practice, then this is the position for you. The available position is from 2 to 4 days per week Monday to Thursday. Work 4 days have a 3 day weekend, better work life balance! Salary will depend solely on your current skill base and experience.
