I am looking for an experienced groom who can take charge in the yard. I have 4.5 horses at home. the .5 is a Shetland! I also have a dressage bred 2 YO mare bought from Claire Hester. A 4 YO backed at 3 and then turned away to mature. He was awarded Higher First Premium at Futurity and qualified for the Equine Bridge as a showjumper although his sire competed GP dressage. My 20 YO dressage/show riding horse and a 7 YO Futurity Elite event horse by Grafenstolz who did two BE prelims and 2 novices in 2017 with places ranging from 4th – 12th. He spent the winter doing dressage and qualified for the BD Nationals coming 11th in his class at Hartpury. So a bit of a mixture…
I am a website designer and Director of British Breeders Network + I run a small B&B, so I am kept pretty busy, hence needing someone I can rely on to take charge in the yard. I need someone reliable who can work with the mix of horses I have and who can ride to a good standard. There is also an opportunity to compete for the right applicant. If at all possible, it would also be perfect if I can find someone who is also willing to help with the B&B day to day.
Hours and days are flexible but some weekends may be required when we have horses entered at shows. Wages are dependent on age and experience and whether you live in and / or bring a horse
