We are a friendly, easy-going, unconventional and open-minded family looking for an experienced and energetic nanny to help with 2 children aged 5 and 8, both at school full-time from mid-August. Approximately 15-20 hours per week after school Monday to Friday, potentially more by mutual agreement.
Duties include picking up children from school/nursery, homework supervision, activities, playing with the kids, preparing basic dinner, bath-time, some tidying up and folding laundry.
We are looking for a friendly, responsible, kind person to join our family, someone who can muck in where needed, and help things run smoothly. Someone who genuinely enjoys children, and is interested in their development. Someone who is cheerful, kind (but knows how to be firm!), who has lots of patience and lots of initiative, and who can just get on with things. We can be pretty flexible, and hope you can be too.
Ideally you’ll have a driving licence to help with the logistical challenges of running a big family (there are also 2 older kids in high school), and be willing to stay for a year minimum.
We treat our nannies well – if you are not happy, then it doesn’t work for us either!
