ARCHITECTURAL TECHNICIAN
Based in Dunfermline
CR Smith has an immediate vacancy for a hands-on Architectural Technician based in our Dunfermline Head Office.
Suitable candidates should be able to demonstrate:
A recent graduation in Architectural Technology, or be a second to fourth year student
QS/Costing/Estimating experience and construction knowledge to assist in the preparation of quotes for bespoke conservatories, orangeries and tiled sunroom projects
Extensive working knowledge of current building regulations
Excellent communication skills at all levels
Proficiency in the use of AutoCAD
As an Architectural Technician, the successful candidate will be part of a team performing the following tasks:
Process building warrants from start to finish, meeting company targets and ensuring the commerciality of each project
Handle any customer enquiries efficiently and promptly
Provide technical support to the sales force on new projects
Maintain regular communication with building control officers on the status of applications
