TDR compact disc repair machine.

I have used this machine over the last three to four years repairing scratched computer games. A new job means I don’t use the machine very much anymore, and having used the last of the polish I had I can’t justify buying any more.

Machine perfect for fixing 4-5 discs a day- it says in the instructions that is really what the machine is designed to do. It gives professional results, removing very deep scratches on the 10 minute fix cycle without paying thousands for the machine.

Machine in good working order although there are a couple of issues with it:

– I have used the last of the polish I had and the polishing pads with it have reached the end of their useful lives. This is the main reason I am getting rid of the machine as I don’t fix enough discs anymore to buy a new consumables pack. Consumable packs including polish and pads can be purchased from Total Disc Repair- the manufacturer of the machine. You will need to buy one of those packs before you can use the machine!

– The light for the 10 minute cycle doesn’t work. This doesn’t impact the way the machine works, it just means the light doesn’t come on to show you it is the extended fix cycle.

– The pump is missing one of its rubber feet. Again no impact on the operating of the machine- there are three feet on tact and the pump can’t move in the polish reservoir anyway. It’s only noticeable when the pump is removed for cleaning.

– it is a used machine and it’s difficult to clean all of the waste polish from it so there may be some dirty marks on it.

– the original box and instructions are included although they are a little bit tatty.

It is a good little machine!
