Hi, I’m just testing the waters as I’m looking for a move up north preferably Cupar area and I’m just looking to see if there’s any interest in a swap and what’s on offer.
I’ve got a 1 bedroom semi-detached bungalow in Stenton near Dunbar in East Lothian, the house is through East Lothian Housing Association, house has large open plan front garden which is south facing and medium sized enclosed back garden.
Back garden is completly slabbed so no maintenence needed. Kitchen was fitted in 2008 which consists of cherry units with black worktops and electric central heating which was installed in 2013 with solar panel for hot water which was installed in 2014.
New chrome Mira power shower and all new shower boards were fitted in 2013, power shower is an excellent shower.
House also has wet room in bathroom and the bathroom is 5 and a half foot long x 6 foot 11 inches wide. Oak laminate flooring in bedroom, hall and livingroom with tile effect laminate in Kitchen.
Livingroom is roughly 14 feet x 14 feet which is partially open plan with kitchen which is 14 feet x 8 feet. Solid wood door frames and skirting throughout the house.
Bedroom is 9 feet long x 11 feet wide to the walk in wardrobe doors and the bed in the room is a superking just to give you an idea of size of room with a large bed in it, the bedroom has a 6 and a half foot walk in wardrobe.
Nearest town for shopping is Dunbar which is roughly 5 miles although there is a bus service that takes you down to Dunbar where they have an Asda and Co-op and a McDonalds and a selection of other shops and takeaways and a community centre and library and a good doctors surgery and is easy access to A1 into Edinburgh and also Dunbar has a railway station to get into Edinburgh if you don’t drive.
Village is very quiet area with good helpful neighbours and my house is in wee cul-de-sac and is a 10-15 walk to woods and a lake which is good for walking dogs.
I’m looking for a 1 bedroom preferably detached or semi-detached bunglalow/cottage only and preferably no stairs or minimal stairs due to mobility issues and must have an enclosed back garden as I have 2 large dogs.
