    Pay Check Ltd is a payroll bureau processing fully managed UK payroll for over 1500 corporate clients in diverse sectors.

    Your main responsibilities will be basic daily payroll administration and providing support to senior staff in completing administrative tasks. This is a role that includes payroll administrator training for the right candidate.

    You will report directly to a team leader in one of our four payroll teams, joining a dedicated team of nearly 40 in our friendly office in Battersea, and offered full training and support. Your role will involve working both autonomously and as part of a team, with the ability to make substantial individual contribution to the success of the company.

    Key Responsibilities

    Payroll administration duties consist of: –

    Calculating the remuneration of simple, variable weekly and monthly payrolls

    Implementing new starter information and HMRC tax notifications

    Processing leavers; including last payment calculations and creating p45’s

    Monthly PAYE liability reconciliation

    Month end volume reconciliation

    Web payslip uploading/approving

    Producing and despatching employee tax documents

    Producing and sending HMRC Real Time Information and Pension electronic files

    Ad-hoc technical and administrative tasks

    Duties for supporting senior staff will include:

    Candidates must have a friendly can do attitude, be technically proficient in all Microsoft Office packages, have an enthusiasm for learning, good communication and numeracy skills, a high level of attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task.

    Preferably you will have some client or customer services experience. The role would suit a recent graduate with a years’ experience of administration.

    We are looking for someone who can start immediately to assist with an administrative project for a few weeks, giving the right candidate some time to learn how the office and our systems work, before embarking on full payroll training with the teams.

    Starting salary is dependent on experience from £18 to £23K; benefits include company pension, private medical, Staff Treats Reward portal, season ticket loans on completion of probation, and 28 to 33 days annual leave (including public holidays).
