Customer Care Assistant

Chicken Guard is the world’s leading manufacturer of automatic hen house door openers. We are based in Fulbourn, just outside of Cambridge.

Our business has expanded rapidly over the last few years, and therefore we are looking to add a full-time customer care assistant to our friendly team.

What we’re looking for:

          Someone who is self-motivated and reliable

          Someone with a good telephone manner and customer service experience

          Someone who is comfortable with using computers and technology

         Someone with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team

          A quick learner with close attention to detail

About the Role:

Main duties include:

            Dealing with customer technical queries regarding our products both over the phone and via email

            Logging all repairs/returns completed on an Excel spreadsheet

            Processing UPS shipping labels for all website orders and replacement parts

            Responding to customer feedback reviews on both our company website and Amazon

            Other Ad hoc administrative duties

Full training will be provided for the role.

Hours of work:

9am – 5pm Monday to Friday, with a half hour lunch break. 37.5 hours per week

Rate of Pay:

Starting from £10 per hour, plus performance related bi-annual bonus
