Driving in through the front gate you find yourself on a paved area with parking for four or five cars. The house itself is an attractive standalone building across three floors with crepe cream walls offset by decorative stone cladding and attractive wooden balconies.

On the right-hand side of the house is a good-sized lawn and on the left-hand side an established vegetable plot and wood store. Behind the house a further patio area leads down to established soft fruit plots – strawberries, raspberries and blackcurrants.

Bellentre itself is a small, friendly welcoming village. It has a mairie, library, primary school, playground and outdoor picnic/bbq area. Several well-known walking routes pass through the village and school buses collect and drop off from here

In the winter the closest access point for skiing the Paradiski area is nearby Montchavin which is just 15 minutes away, right in the heart of the ski area. You can also drive to Bourg St Maurice in 10 minutes and then take the funiculaire to Les Arcs, or alternatively a 20-minute drive takes you to Plagne Centre.

Tignes, Val D’Isere, La Rosiere, St Foy and the 3 valleys are all easily accessible from Bellentre in under 45mins.

Whilst the winter season here is world famous the summer is equally beautiful and very popular. Bourg St Maurice and Aime both have extensive summer tourism programs; as do all the ski resorts. Just a 5-minute drive from Bellentre is a pleasure lake with zorbing, trampolines, kayaks, sups, beach, playground and café all available during the summer. And of course, a wealth of walking, running and biking trails run across the mountains.

For those looking to purchase the house for a holiday investment travel to and from Bellentre couldn’t be easier. Landry train station on the main line into and out of the valley is just a 5-minute drive from the house and has direct trains to/from London seasonally. Chambery airport is 90 minutes away and Geneva, Grenoble and Lyon are all less than two and a half hours drive.
