Based on the outskirts of Ipswich, the hiring company helps businesses in providing them with timely and accurate financial information and are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to join their team.

The ideal candidate will be qualified to AAT level or working towards AAT, but the company will happily consider persons qualified by experience.

Candidates will ideally have knowledge or experience of the current accounting packages including cloud based packages such as Xero and QuickBooks as well as Sage, although this is not essential.

The candidate will need to be well organised, keen, enthusiastic and have aptitude to work on their own or as part of a team.

The role involves all aspects of bookkeeping including:

Purchase Ledger and Sales Ledger work including Credit Control

Bank Reconciliations

Month End Reconciliations and procedures

Payroll Processing

VAT Processing and Monthly/ Quarterly Returns

PAYE

Client Visits

Salary Expectations: £20,000 – £25,000 depending on experience.

Immediate start available.

The company offer a relaxed working environment with flexible working conditions. Full time hours are preferable, but part time hours to suit would be considered.
