Accountancy practice based in the City of London are currently recruiting for the role of a qualified ACA/ACCA Accountant.
The role will involve the following:
· Preparation of financial statements for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
· Planning and conducting the audit of small and medium enterprises in a variety of sectors.
· Supervising and reviewing the work of junior team members, drafting of management letters and audit completion reports.
· Preparation of VAT returns, income tax returns and company tax returns.
· Commercial and residential service charge audits.
Qualifications/Experience
The successful candidate will possess the following:
· ACA/ACCA qualified.
· A good understanding of IFRS and UK GAAP.
· Experience of supervising and delegating to junior members of staff.
· Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, and interpersonal skills.
· Self-driven, efficient and confident.
· Ability to work individually and as part of a small team.
· Well organised with great time management and ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines.
· Experience of Sage, Iris and other accounting software would be an advantage.
· Experience in the last two years within the profession.
