Senior Client Manager sought by medium sized accountancy practice based in Oxfordshire. Salary levels reflect the level of seniority for this role.

As a Senior Client Manager you will:
Review accounts and tax computations for an existing client portfolio of owner managed businesses with turnovers between £500K and £30m
Review accounts and tax computations for an existing portfolio of UK subsidiaries of international groups
Review self-assessment tax returns for, in the main, business owners of UK companies
Complete / review and be interested in ad hoc project work whether in tax or accounting
Ensure work allocations are planned and take responsibility for the management of deadlines for this portfolio
Maintain and develop the current client relationships ensuring tax efficiency and delivering commercial insight
Be able to lead client meetings
Meet, quote and integrate new clients from the initial enquiry
Be proactive and able to multi task well
Have a desire to work with technical items and established business
Be a technical contact for clients and team members, providing assistance on accounting and taxation queries
Demonstrate excellence in current accounting standards, legislation, technical issues and related matters
Continue your personal and professional development through education, training and experience
Be able to train and develop staff on controls and procedures and in getting the best from their own resources
Provide constructive feedback to team members following reviews of their work
Assist in the Business Services Managers meetings and other senior team meets, providing input to assist in our goals; continually striving to develop the entire team & client service
Be able, knowledgeable and competent on year end, tax and management accounts software, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Undertake other reasonable business tasks as requested or required within the practice and actively participate in the activities and needs of the company
To be considered for the role you need to have the following:
Education:
You will be ACCA / ACA qualified
You will have prior experience of:
Working in a client and service orientated practice for at least 6 years
The preparation of statutory accounts for Limited companies
The preparation of corporate and personal tax returns
Helping clients with their systems and accounting as required
Supporting less experienced team members
Other:
Hold a full driving licence
Have access to a vehicle
