Recently acquired this vehicle from a council operated nursery in Kent, no former keepers.

Drives very well, mileage is 77 000 and warranted with relative service history and old MOTs.

I drove the vehicle back from Kent, was really impressed with the 2.8 litre engine, plenty of pull and surprisingly good on fuel. I used roughly half a tank traveling 250 miles. The vehicle was booked in for MOT and failed fairly catastrophically, which was a surprise to me because upon collection I briefly inspected the vehicle and felt confident upon my initial judgement..

Its become clear that the vehicle will require welding on the chassis. I would imagine a good welder would amend the corrosion and revitalise the chassis in about 10 hours work. Furthermore, the vehicle will need new brake pads.

The van has received regular maintenance, whilst it was sat surplus to requirements for almost 2 years. A local mechanic the council use would start the vehicle on a weekly basis, drive forwards and backwards and park up until the next time.

I’m optimistic about the vehicle continuing to provide utility for someone else and strongly believe it would be worth the endeavour. I would imagine the cost of repair would be no more than 600 pounds.

Please understand I try to be as transparent as possible, this is a good vehicle, its currently a project for someone, but would make a great base vehicle for a campervan/ day van after some TLC.
