Our Regional Accountant – Nordics position is an office based key role in the NI Northern Europe Regional Finance Team with responsibility for supporting the month end, accounts payable and banking processes as well as related statutory reporting activities for the Nordics region covering Denmark, Norway & Finland.

The Regional Accountant – Nordics duties and key responsibilities:
Month End Reporting
Ownership of balance sheet
SOX Compliance
Accounts Payable and Intercompany support
Payroll Support
Monthly Cash and Operating expense Forecasting
Annual Budgeting
Tax Compliance & Audit
Branch Statutory Reporting
Continuous Improvement / Project Work
Maintain strong internal relationships with Compliance, Shared Services and Payroll
Our ideal Regional Accountant – Nordics will have the below skills and experience:
– You’ll have a proven track record working in a finance team with strong numerical and analytical skills with the ability to work to deadlines
– Proactive/can do attitude
– Ability to prioritise and multitask along with strong verbal and written communication skills.
– Good working knowledge of MS Office is essential for this role, along with experience of using Oracle Financials or equivalent ERP system
– Experience in technical accounting and statutory reporting is advantageous
– Experience working in a multi-national environment is an advantage
A fully Qualified Accountant is preferable for this role but we will also consider candidates who may not be fully qualified but demonstrate strong experience against the job description.
