Accounts Senior/Manager with a minimum of 6 years’ practice experience sought by well-established chartered certified accountancy practice based in Dudley who are expanding.
As a qualified accountant, you will be responsible for managing a small team and reviewing work of junior staff. With the opportunity to advance your career by demonstrating skills to fast track to Director level, you will manage a team and have a portfolio of clients.
Your responsibilities will include:
Finalisation of accounts
Being first point of contact for clients
Practice monthly planning for the office
Assisting partner with business planning.
Attending face to face client meetings as required
Attending networking events
Reviewing of other team members work

Ideal candidate:
Fully qualified ACCA, ACA
At least 6 years current experience in practice
Must be able to prepare accounts independently to final stage.
Must be able to demonstrate effective client inter-personal skills.
Must be able to actively manage own workloads and take responsibility for own and team members development.
Must possess IT skills to operate in-house programs and prepare and develop spreadsheets as necessary.
Must be fully conversant with accounts preparation programs, preferably SAPA/ Sage
Must possess a good working knowledge of accounting standards and the accounting provisions of the Companies Act, and relevant taxation matters.
Audit knowledge would be advantageous.
This is a full time, permanent position. Salary negotiable dependent on experience.
