I am currently recruiting part time production operatives to work on our successful Free Range Poultry Farms.
We have 30,000 free range hens near Salisbury and 10000 Organic free range near Devizes, the sites are 25 mins apart and applicants should be flexible to work on both sites if needs be however please specify which would be easier for you.
Due to the location and nature of the business applicants must be able to drive and flexible to cover shifts over a 7 day period.
Working within a small team you will be responsible for checking and packing our free range eggs ready for collection to store.
Daily duties include; quality checking and monitoring, stacking and grading eggs preparing them for collection. Also walking the birds and ensuring all is well, and checking food and water supplies etc.
Also depending on experience, the opportunity to learn and be trained on all aspects of Free Range Egg Production, this obviously depends on whether you would rather just grade and pack eggs or get more involved.
Hours are approximately 7.30am-1.30pm, up to 5 days a week, and covering weekends on a rotating basis with other staff members. The job is possible every weekend if that suits the applicants requirements of available time.
Pay negotiable but starting at £8 per hour, Extra hours will be available. Ideally looking for someone to join the team on a permanent basis and flexibility to work on both sites would be ideal.
You will need to be reliable, conscientious and flexible with a genuine interest in UK Agriculture and Livestock.
