We are looking for an experienced Part Time Groom for our Thoroughbred Stud in Comrie, Perthshire. During the summer months the horses are turned out 24/7 so the job currently would include checking & feeding the horses, poo picking and general yard duties. Working hours would be for three days a week 15hours in total (approximately) from 9am to 12.30pm and then again in the afternoon from 4.30pm to 6pm so a split shift. This would increase slightly to cover for holidays. In the winter months when the horses are stabled the hours may increase slightly.
The Stud has broodmares, foals and youngstock who would need handled on a daily basis, we are a small, friendly Stud and it would probably suit someone who lived locally to us given the split shift during the summer.
