Free subs Goalkeeper required for Saturday morning football

Burgess Park FC are urgently searching for a goalkeeper to play for our 11 a-side team in the upcoming 2018/19 season.

Burgess Park FC was started in 2013 when a group of friends wanted to turn our regular Saturday kick-about into something more serious. Since then we have played 4 seasons in the London Football League and have been very successful:

– 2013/14 Cup winners

– 2014/15 Cup runner’s up

– 2016/17 Cup winners

– 2017/18 League 2 champions

Games are every Saturday morning, 10:30am kick-offs, with home games held at Peckham Rye and all away games being within zone 3.

Pre-season is due to start on 7th July, with training held on Saturdays and Wednesdays until the start of the season in early September.

We already have some pre-season friendlies lined up in August and would love to have a keeper in place before then.

Please note that our goalkeeper plays for free and does not have to play subs for the upcoming season.
