Most of the work takes place in central London, with about 20 days a year in Milton Keynes. Both venues have high standard built-in AV systems, therefore the agency purely provides skilled technician, no hardware whatsoever.
The venue in Milton Keynes is a hotel and offers accommodation and sustenance to the technical staff free of charge, events at this location are booked well in advance.
Throughout the year the agency provides one technician, and a second technician in the busiest periods: spring and autumn. Work is booked week by week, regular and manageable, mainly Monday to Friday, 8:00 to 17:00.
The agency has been providing this service regularly for the past 18 months, has built a very good relationship with the in house AV Manager, so that is the sole agency working there; in acquiring this agency the contract will be kept by the new owner, the present owner is willing to offer training to the new technicians and ensure that the AV Manager is fully satisfied with the new arrangements.
£30k turnover in 2016 (the business has been established for longer but only started offering technical staff recently, in mid 2015) No overheads and no need for any investment to be made. This turnover has been achieved by giving work for about 150 days.
