Our full time roles are only 40* hours per week
About our Shrewsbury Nursery
Busy Bees Nursery in Shrewsbury is a children’s day nursery situated on Shrewsbury Business Park (off the Emstrey Island). We provide quality childcare for children aged from 2 months to 5 years. We have a fantastic forest schools area at the bottom of our garden which our pre-school rooms love to explore. The children take their Binoculars and clips boards and make notes of all the different creatures and plants that they can find! We hold a full graduation with hat and gown each year for our children who leave us to go to school; this is a time where parents can join us and say our Goodbyes! Each Morning our pre-school take part in Wake and Shake, this gives the staff and children an energetic start to the day full of learning and fun! Our Baby rooms have lovely black and white areas with family boxes for the younger children to explore and develop their different senses!

Key responsibilities:
Deliver rich learning opportunities and exceptional care that helps young children to develop
Plan and provide effective care, teaching and learning that enables children to progress and prepares them for school
Safeguard and promote the health, safety and welfare of children
Work in partnership with colleagues, parents and/or carers or other professionals to meet the individual needs of the children
Make accurate and effective use of assessment reflecting the needs, interests and stages of development of the individual children.

You need:
NNEB * BTEC Nat Dip * CACHE Dip in Childcare * NVQ level 3 *SVQ Level 3
Experience within a private day nursery
All positions are subject to an enhanced DBS Check
*Bonus is at Nursery’s discretion and will be processed following satisfactory completion of probation period. Part time will be pro rata’d
