Wage / Salary: £12.00 gross per hour

Driver required: Essential

Use of car: Adapted vehicle while on duty

Essential: Complex medical needs experience, including PEG feeding, suctioning and use of a hoist

Start Date: ASAP

Days & Hours: Monday to Friday 7.00am to 11.00am. More hours available during school holidays. Occasional weekend shifts will be required.

Family Pets: Two dogs, one Guinea pig

Anna, 13, lives with her parents, little brother Oliver, 10, (lover of football, midfield position), sister Emily, 5, (enchanting), a rather cute Guinea pig, a very loving Labrador and a lively Labradoodle. Anna loves music and movement and her favourite TV programme is Mr Tumble! Anna has cerebral palsy, is non-verbal, visually impaired and has epilepsy. She is PEG fed, oxygen dependent overnight and requires medication every two to three hours throughout the day and night.

Your role will be to ensure Anna is dressed and ready for her morning routine before the school bus arrives. You will accompany her to and from school.

This job will suit someone who is proactive and energetic, who has a genuine interest in working with children and within a family environment.
