IT Support Technician

As an IT Support Technician, you will be responsible for logging and resolving support request and diagnose any hardware and software issues and faults including operating systems (Windows and Mac). You will be supporting approximability around 400 users across multiple sites and you will be required to provide exceptional customer service and always putting your customers in the heart of everything you do. The IT Support team works in a dynamic, fast-paced environment which provides services over the phone, through e-mail, and in person requiring excellent communication skills.

Essential Requirements
*Must have relevant experience working in an IT helpdesk role
*Must be customer service orientated with an excellent telephone manner
*Ability to troubleshoot effectively and efficiently
*Logical thinker with good analytical and problem-solving skills
*Ability to work on your own initiative
*Capable of dealing with multiple problems simultaneously
*A working knowledge of PC’s and mobile devices in the standalone and networked environment
*A good working knowledge of all Microsoft Office Applications & Operating Systems (including Mac OS)
*Ability to learn new technologies and applications quickly
*Driving license
Some of your responsibilities will include:
*Answering queries and resolving technical issues via helpdesk and onsite if required
*Multi-tasking across different problems and dealing with multiple remote sessions at the same time
*Escalate issues that cannot be resolved immediately
*Travelling to other premises as and when required
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30 am – 5:00 pm – 37.5 working hours
Salary: Up to £22,000 p.a. with scope to increase salary in the future

Training: Ongoing training will be delivered internally as well as relevant IT certifications and other training may be provided and funded (e.g. Microsoft certifications)
