I am a native English teacher from London and a Master’s graduate. I worked for International House in 2010 and British Council accredited schools in London 2011 to 2014. Since January 2015 I have been working at a university teaching Academic English (EAP). Qualifications: Cambridge CELTA (2009) and TEAP (2014).

I have been proofreading and teaching private classes since 2009. In this time I have proofread many types of documents including a novel and legal papers; the majority of my proofreading work is dissertations/ theses for BA, Master’s and PhD students. I have proofread dissertations in History of Art, Finance, Politics, Business, Law and Immunology, for example, and have a clear understanding of the nuances of each of the fields.

I can also help with essays/ assignments, CVs and UCAS personal statements.

I can proofread grammar, spelling and punctuation, give advice about wording, structure, coherence/ cohesion, academic English/ style/ register, in text citation and referencing. I do not check for plagiarism.

I am happy to proofread and give feedback on a sample at no obligation/ charge. Thereafter I charge £10 per 1000 words.

Alternatively I can meet for private classes in Holborn/ Piccadilly or via Skype.

Please feel free to contact me with any questions.
