An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Management Accountant to join the finance team, initially on a fixed term basis, with the possibility of the role being made permanent. This role will report directly to the Financial Controller and will be based in the offices at our Runcorn site.
Responsibilities of Role:
Supporting in the production of the monthly management accounts, including KPI’s.
Balance sheet reconciliations.
Key customer account reconciliations.
Preparation and reconciliation of ticket revenue submissions to the relevant local authorities.
Authorising payments to suppliers.
Reviewing the weekly payroll reports and authorising payment.
Assisting in external audits.
Providing cover for the purchase ledger team.
Ad-hoc duties and analysis work, as and when required.
Qualifications/Experience:
AAT qualified or qualified by experience.
Experience in the transport industry is desirable but not essential.
Experienced in the use of financial operating systems.
