Personal Assistant to support a disabled person in his work place to start in June 2018 (date tbc)
Have a clean driving UK/EU driving license
Excellent communication skills
Be computer literate and familiar with MS programmes Word; Excel; PowerPoint; Adobe; etc.
Be able to organise and plan effectively
Be familiar with working in an office environment
Shifts are: Thursday and Friday working 9 hour and 24 minutes (max) per day on starting 8.30am and finishing at 7pm (you will have a 1 hour unpaid break in the day which may be broken into 1 x ½ hour and 2 x 15 minutes)
Salary: £10.10 per hour plus holiday pay (holidays must coincide with that of the PA User) and pension contributions where applicable.
Your role is to:
Start at 8.30am to collect the PA User from his home in NW5 (Highgate Cemetery) and drive (in his vehicle-automatic transmission) to SE1 (London Bridge)
At 5.30pm you will drive the PA User home and finish your day at 7pm.
Helping with equipment, setting up and operating laptop computers, overhead projectors, books, files
Provide administrative support e.g. diary management, arranging meetings, take notes, etc.
Filing, answering the phone, photocopying and sending faxes and e-mails.
At lunch time to heat up food or to buy form the café, serve the food, wash any dishes and throughout the day to prepare tea and light drinks.
There is no overtime available in this placement so it is your responsibility with the PA User to manage the start and finish times to ensure that you do not exceed 9 hours and 24 minutes per shift)
There is no personal care required in this placement.
