Tax and mot exempt – Reliant scimitar SE5 GTE, 1971 classic car , optional merc 320 supercharger

Reliant scimitar se5 GTE, 3 litre (supercharged if wanted) Essex engine.

Rare SE5 early model, (not 5A!)..not many around these days,1971, nice condition black interior, flat dash with wood detailing.

House purchase forces sale of my classic Reliant, owned by me for 14 years, and previous owner for around 18 yrs.

has option of running merc supercharger, weber is sealed with stainless fabricated inlet.

V pulley mounted on end of crank for drive.

Car has, 3 branch tubular manifolds, Aldon distributor, mk 2 Jag front calipers, 5x 14″ Wolfrace wheels (will need polishing, look great when fitted) rare triumph herald estate stainless body trim,. towbar + electrics .fitted in last few years– ford power clutch master and slave cylinders + new water pump, kenlowe electric fan.

Used as my daily driver for many years but head gasket gone on drivers side hence been standing for a couple of years now.

I drained cooling system , to enable moving car under its own power, started every day for a few minutes ,good manual overdrive box (o/D works fine.)

Chassis is well undersealed on this scimitar but drivers side outrigger looks a bit flaky. Bit tlc and youll have a great head turning cheap to run classic.

May do deal P/X classic bike, no rubbish.

These SE5 scimitars are becoming quite rare and increasing in value.
