Wanted for Wedding / Function Band – Saxophone Player

The attached video is my last bands promo video and the pictures are just a few random shots of me so you can see who I am.

I have been managing and playing in a wedding / function band since 2011. The band finished at the end of last year. I am now putting together a new group and looking for a saxophone player. This is going to be an 8-person band. Currently we have in place male and female lead vocalists, guitar player, keyboard player, bass player and drummer. All we need now is trumpet and sax to complete the band.

My first choice would be someone who can play alto and tenor but I would be willing to consider just alto or tenor if I can’t find someone who can play both. I’m looking for someone with a good quality instrument who can read charts well and is good at improvising. I also want someone who has a friendly personality and is comfortable on stage. You need to be reliable so I can count on you to show up to gigs and rehearsals on time and well prepared.

If you are interested please send me a short bio about your playing experience along with a demo recording or video of you playing sax if you have any.
