Whalley Range ‘Weeds Are Flowers Too’ Festival

The day starts with a Grow Wild giant flowers procession from The Mediterranean Cafe on Withington Road in Whalley Range, unveiling Katy Jones’s wooden flower plaques on the raised beds, at 12.30pm. Join us as we walk through the high street to The Carlton Club COMMUNITY GARDEN. Bring your children, dogs, hangovers and deckchairs for a day of free workshops from One Green World, Hulme Community Garden Centre, Little Worm, Tim Moorhouse Herbalist, Seed Bombs. Muckers Market, Coffee Cranks Cooperative, Manchester Pizza Revolution, Home Made Ice Creams, Curry, Baked on the Range Cakes, All Day Bar, Roshine’s Magical Face Paint. Live music from Caoilfhionn Rose, George Fell, Hannah Ashcroft, Jonny Woodhead, Digging For Apples and The Mighty Quinn & DJLN.
