YAMAHA OUTBOARD 40HP HE 6H4 S 2STROKE SHORT SHAFT GEARBOX

Please read very carefully the listing is for THE GEARBOX ONLY this is what you receive not the full engine outboard , The outboard is being broken for parts and all the other parts are listed separately in my other items , The gearbox is in nice condition this was used on lake windemere so fresh water use only no corrosion , casing is in original condition no cracks in the casing , never been welded filled or bodged ! , gears feel lovely when turning the drive shaft by hand ,selects forward neutral reverse smoothly , Removed the oil drain plug and oil looks very good no water getting in , this is a SHORT  shaft gearbox (measures 427MM from the top of the drive shaft to where the gearbox bolts on )this would make a ideal replacement gearbox for your outboard please check the serial number (yam 40HE 6H4 S  051237 ) before buying . Take a look at my feedback for outboard spares sold in the past .
